Welcome to GetSrvd, a private chef marketplace providing culinary experiences across the Caribbean. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Use of Services

Our services are intended for individuals who are of legal age to form a binding contract. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

Fees and Charges

Clients pay a service fee on top of the chef's quoted price. It is shown as a separate line before you pay, so the total you agree to is the total you are charged.

Chefs pay a platform fee of 10% of the quoted price, deducted from each payout. You see the exact amount on every quote and booking before you accept it.

We may change our fees. If we do, the change applies to bookings made after it takes effect, never to one you have already accepted.

User Conduct

You are responsible for your conduct and any content that you submit to our website. You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Bookings

All bookings made through our website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse service to any client for any reason.

Chef Payouts

When you finish a service, your payment becomes available on a schedule that depends on how the client paid. Most bookings become available 3 to 7 days after the service ends. Larger bookings, and payments the cardholder's bank did not verify, are held longer — up to 45 days. You can see the exact release date for every booking in your earnings before you accept the work.

We hold payments because a card payment can be reversed by the client's bank for months after a booking. A short hold means a reversal can be stopped while the money is still with us, rather than after it has gone. Payments where the cardholder verified their identity with their bank release fastest, because the bank then carries the fraud risk instead of us.

Once a payment is available, request it and we will process it within 3 to 5 business days.

Disputed Payments

If a client's bank disputes a payment or reports it as fraud, we hold the related payout straight away and contact you. Nothing is deducted from you while we look into it.

If you supplied the service as agreed, GetSrvd absorbs the loss. We will not ask you to return payment for work you did, even where the client's card turns out to have been used without permission. That risk is ours, not yours.

We may recover a payout only where the service was not supplied, where it differed materially from what was agreed, or where a chef took part in the fraud. We will tell you why in writing before recovering anything.

Cancellations and Refunds

Our Cancellation and Refund policy is available on our Refunds & Cancellation page. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the terms of our Cancellation and Refund policy.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including but not limited to text, images, and trademarks, is the property of GetSrvd and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use our content without our express written consent.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall GetSrvd be liable for any damages, including but not limited to direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, arising out of or in connection with the use of our services.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GetSrvd and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of our services.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Your continued use of our services following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
