About Me
I’m Chef Ian Sarfin, from South Africa, a place known for its landscapes. My culinary journey began when I was six years old helping my mother in the kitchen by baking scones. As I grew older my passion for cooking flourished, leading me on an exploration of the world. I started my training as a Kosher chef in the African military, where I honed my skills and later became a pastry instructor. Eventually I graduated from Hotel School with a Diploma in Hotel Management.
Throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to immerse myself in cultures and countries including South Africa, Israel, Canada, the UK and the picturesque Turks & Caicos Islands. These experiences have shaped my style that combines gourmet elements with comfort food flavors.
Ian Sarfin has always had a zest for experimentation which has allowed me to constantly evolve and create a repertoire of dishes. Regarding presentation, I believe in simplicity and deliciousness while enjoying the interaction with guests. Sharing recipes and offering cooking lessons brings me joy as it creates an educational dining atmosphere.
In addition to my love for cooking, I Ian Sarfin have also channeled my creativity into crafting a one of a kind line of sauces and spice mixes. These products are a reflection of my appreciation for both ingredients well, as exotic flavors. No matter if I’m, in the Turks and Caicos Islands or anywhere else in the world I’m always excited about creating a dining experience. I take pride in customizing my offerings to cater to a range of requirements and personal preferences guaranteeing an exceptional culinary adventure, for every taste bud.
